Yo dubmood : what chip-tracker do you use ??? where in sweden do you live ???

I can only agree with Dma-sc... Most musicians listen to all kinds of music especially if they make chip-music like all us Ym-dudes... I think the best results can be achieved if one make music that don't fit in to the kind of music you are usually listening to... Frazer "A bit too many brewskies" /TSC

To gwEm :

Many thanks about your comments, man! :)

So you want to know my musical influences ? ;)
Mhhh... lots of things and mainly intrumental/melodic stuff.

First a huuuge amount of game music (synthetic/digital/live), there are lots of styles represented in it and even more when it comes to arrangements of synthetic tunes on live instruments (the Japaneses rule about it), also lots of demo music of course.

Then for the other stuff : loOots of funk, jazz/funk & jazz/rock, instrumental rock, progressive metal, r&b & hip-hop, electro/techno/d&b/dance, film/anime soundtracks, etc...

I think that composers got to listen lots of differerents kind of music to find varied inspiration. :)
