| yerz: I dont mean esp.amiga.. im mean the protracker format itself... you have 4 channels stereo.... that means two channels left and two channels right... if you wanna have that stereo feeling when you sample such a tune you simple have to sample it in stereo :) You dont have to do that with ST chiptunes... thats the reason why the ST tunes are here in mono... there is NO quality loss. *has to admit still not heard the mp3s*... so i dunno if there really went something wrong... |

| stu, yeah on some motherboard revisions its worse than others - you can hear a slight crackling sound when you move the mouse. If the mouse is stationary you dont get it. But like i say, its worse on some ataris than others. on some stfms i have its really bad. gwem |

| mp3 mp3.. recorded a rockerz song from popstars demo and encoded as 96kHz mono.. now compared with the other it has a bigger noice reduction but even sounds less dull.. unfortunately i have no space to upload it at the moment :(its about 2.5kB) gwem: didn't know that moving the mouse can influence.. you're right it's true that the sound comes nice naturally.. so what i did: soundz via atari out (phat intrument wire from pin 1) to my tascam (the mighty machine) ..directly burn burn audio cd then insert in my cd-rom .. import to wavelab, ,, normalize, encode that's about it.. greezz |
