Hi folks,

sent an email last week to lotek style ("want a bigger.... YM ?"),
but I´, not sure it passed his spam filter!

Subject of me seeking contact to you chip muzak folks is the following idea:
How about replacing the YM2149 (=AY3-8910) with it´s bigger twin brother, the AY8930 with
100% YM compatibility, but increased audio performance? I have the specs of this chip here and would like to send it to anyone interested in this project.
I offered to retro-fit this chip into your STs, if I get enough feedback from you. All you´d have to pay is postage and the chip itself (I assume it´s around EUR 5,- for the chip).
Of course I´ll modify one of my STs first to see if it really works without trouble. In principal, it´s possible to modify all ST, STE, TT models and later even Falcons (but this is a lot more time
consuming because of the YM3439 in flatpack version used there).

Interested, anyone?

I´d love to hear from you!

i was looking for a tune which was used in EIL3 invite demo, but couldn't find it at dhs' page.
without exaggerating, speak about the best ym track i heared yet :] my absolute favourite!!
is there an sndh of that track?

for the mm2 sndh files.... yes there are bugs. as it happens grazey/phf is looking into it.

tao : I really like the jam player !! I use it on my falcon to play my AHX files !
I was thinking about AHX, Is it posseble to do a falcon version of that tracker ?

I also wonder if some one have the same problem like me : I can't play SNDH versions
of MM2 files on my falcon, is crashes. But it works GREAT on my STE ....

about autoplay-mode:

i already did that in a special version for "killer instinct exhibition" in NYC, so
it won't be a problem having that in our next demo....

Well for me , I use my Falcon mk X. I's not as noisy as the STE on the output.
