I finally took the time to listen to Timewarp over the week-end. Awesome release! I never thought that bare YM sound could sound this nice again.

Hi!

I'm having problems getting Tymewarp to run on my 1040STfm (TOS 1.02 Swedish). The demo loads, then the screen goes black and music starts playing. After a few notes, the music stops and nothing further happens. I've also tried soft-loading TOS 1.04 (UK) via SELTOS, since 1.02 is said to be buggy, but this makes no difference to the demo.

*One* time, the demo went further. The screen remained black but the music kept playing. Pressing keys, etc. made no difference. Unfotunately I haven't been able to reproduce it and I don't know what I did differently (if anything).

I don't believe the ST is faulty as games and demos seem to work fine in general (including previous YM Rockerz releases). I also ran a memory tester which didn't find any problems.

Hints or tips are greatfully accepted :)

Next month a special on MSX Airwaves? cool..
(you might wanna check the whole muzix saga from fuzzy logic @ http://www.thefuzzl.nl for more nifty MSX tunes (no YM tho))

Always loved the speccy and atarit tracks while knowing MSX had a similar chip build in but was never abbused like spec/atari. And now I hear all these great YM/AY tunes on my winamp.. MAN! soooo fucking great.

keep it up.
