| astroboy: what we are doing? well, our stuff is based on the YM2149-soundchip. that's the basic 3 voice source for bleepy sounds on the Atari ST-family. then, since you've used fruity loops i'm sure you'll have no problem getting into tracking. there's a "trackers handbook" located somewhere on the net... probably pretty easy to find. anyway, check tracking[dot]atari[dot]org when you've made sure your Atari setup is stable and start tracking... there's another way, though i cannot really recommend it. download the emulator "steem from steem[dot]atari[dot]st. it's a very good emulator in all, but YM-emulation is far from flawless, your sounds will not sound as clean as on the real hardware :/ good luck! :) |
